The Fair Dismissal Code is intended to create special arrangements for small businesses with fewer than 15 employees. If, when terminating an employee, a small business has complied with the Code, the termination will be deemed fair by FWC.
Fair Work Commission
Fair Work Commission is the independent tribunal on national workplace laws. It has the power to carry out a range of functions relating to workplace disputes and industrial action, the minimum wages and employment conditions safety net and enterprise bargaining.
