Work Integrated Learning - for students

WIL, or Work Integrated Learning, links your degree to a job. Employers prefer graduates with real-world experience when hiring.

Here at CCI, we assist businesses across the state to identify projects where a student could assist through an internship.

This may be with us, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry or one of our members or associates within the West Australian business community.

These internships are created in accordance with the Fair Work Act’s Vocational Placement guidelines and to undertake a placement you must be a current undergraduate university student studying a relevant field of study to the internship at a West Australian university. To be successful in undertaking the placement you must be able to enrol in a for-credit professional practice or business practicum unit.

Here’s your opportunity to gain experience in a workplace by completing a real project through a WIL placement. Through a WIL placement you can put your technical knowledge into practice and learn the soft skills you need to enter the workforce.
