Ryan has 15 years of management and industrial relations experience, providing quality legal advice to businesses in a wide range of industries. Ryan’s expertise includes providing employment solutions that contribute to the strategic thinking and direction of businesses.

Cass has over 20 years’ experience as a lawyer across Sydney and Perth. Cass has extensive experience in negotiating commercial arrangements including responding to tenders and drafting bespoke contractual arrangements.
Cass has extensive board experience and a passion for board governance. She acts for a broad range of clients from small to large businesses, charities and not for profits across multiple industries. Cass focuses on providing strategic, practical and proactive commercial legal advice to protect her client’s business interests.
Justin has over 15 years’ legal experience in industrial relations and employment law. This includes representing businesses in contentious unfair dismissal matters and general protections claims as well as advising clients on contractual matters, workplace investigations and enterprise agreement negotiations.
Justin also advises businesses on the complexities of the industrial relations system including providing strategies to deal with difficult employees, restructuring and redundancy matters and ensuring compliance with the Modern Award system. Justin’s clients value his practical approach in resolving difficult workplace situations.
Martina has more than 20 years’ experience advising CCIWA Members and businesses on their industrial relations and employment matters including advising on complex matters and is an experienced litigator and advocate for employers. In her role at CCIWA, Martina has successfully represented Members in the WA Industrial Relations Commission, Fair Work Commission, Supreme Court, Federal Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court, the Equal Opportunity Commission and the State Administrative Tribunal.
Agnes has over 30 years’ experience in employment law and workplace relations across the jurisdictions of New Zealand and Australia. Agnes has experience in conducting workplace investigations and providing advice on complex issues in employment law including redundancies, performance management and terminations.
Agnes also practices in Work Health and Safety law, providing businesses with compliance and risk management advice, how to manage workplace safety issues as well as being a Member of the Work Health and Safety Commission of Western Australia.
Michael is a seasoned Senior Associate that advises on Commercial and Employment Law matters. He is a strong advocate for WA businesses and routinely provides legal representation in court and tribunal proceedings. He assists businesses of all sizes and is comfortable advising stakeholders at board and executive levels.
Michael understands the value of simplicity. He provides timely, practical solutions for businesses so they can remain focused on their commercial goals. Michael holds degrees in Law, Commerce and Science from UWA, and a GradDip in Law from ANU. Prior to CCIWA he worked as an Associate at the Fair Work Commission.
As an Employment Lawyer in the Workplace Relations team, Laura has worked closely with organisations of varying size and industry to effectively implement industrial relations and human resources strategies while ensuring compliance with the industrial relations framework.
Her areas of expertise include advising and assisting members with enterprise agreements, contracts of employment, payroll & compliance audits and performance management. Laura has a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in industrial relations and management.
Brianna joined CCIWA in 2019, having previously worked in the areas of employee relations and industrial relations for five years.
Brianna has a keen interest in mediation and dispute resolution and has represented clients in the Federal Court, Fair Work Commission, WA Industrial Relations Commission, Human Rights Commission and the Equal Opportunity Commission. Brianna has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in psychology) from the University of Western Australia and was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 2016.
Michael started his career in insurance litigation where he acted for major Australian insurers on a variety of claims, such as workers’ compensation, public liability, and industrial actions.
He now practises exclusively in the industrial relations/employment law sector with experience including compliance with the Award system, managing employees, enterprise agreements, workplace investigations and acting in industrial actions. Michael has been involved in proceedings in a number of Australian Courts and Tribunals, such as Workcover WA, the District Court of Western Australia, the Fair Work Commission, the Federal Circuit Court, and the Australian Human Rights Commission.
Kara is an employment lawyer with experience assisting in defending unfair dismissal and general protections application and contract disputes, preparing contracts of employment, policies and procedures and through all stages of bargaining for enterprise agreements.
Kara has been involved in proceedings in a number of Australian Courts, including the Fair Work Commission, the Industrial Relations Commission (WA), the Federal Court of Australia, the Supreme Court and the Australian Human Rights Commission.
Kara is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator and assists businesses of all sizes and industries in all manners of workplaces disputes, to reach mutually beneficial or amicable solutions.
Chantelle has experience across an array of business and commercial matters including legal advisory, commercial contracts, debt recovery, board governance, risk and compliance. Assisting clients from start-ups to large businesses, Chantelle also has a passion for assisting the not-for-profit sector.
Chantelle provides practical commercial legal solutions for her clients. Growing up in multiple family businesses, giving her insight into the issues her clients face, Chantelle brings a depth of practical, as well as legal experience and is committed to serving WA businesses to see them grow and thrive.
A graduate of the University of Western Australia, Louisa is an employment lawyer with hands on experience working for in-house teams in construction and litigation, ensuring she understands the importance of having practical employment law solutions in business.
Louisa has assisted on various employment law matters, including termination of employment, enterprise agreement bargaining, reviewing contracts of employment, matters in the Fair Work Commission, and workplace investigations.
