Warren Edwardes

Warren Edwardes

Warren is the director of Business Law WA and the General Manager of Workplace Consulting at CCI.

He has worked as a solicitor for CCI and in private practice, and was a member of the WA Police Service.

Warren has experience consulting on a number of major construction projects. He is able to provide advice and assistance across a range of areas including:

  • Employment Law
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Discrimination/Equal Opportunity
  • Occupational Health and Safety

Warren has acted as counsel for a number of clients before the Fair Work Commission. He has also represented CCI in the Federal Court.

He has earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame Australia and a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management) from Edith Cowan University.


Justin Lillyman

Justin Lilleyman

Justin is a solicitor at Business Law WA.

He has worked at CCI for four years as a Principal Employee Relations Consultant. Justin has previously worked as a solicitor at the Australian Building and Construction Commission and in private practice.

Justin has experience providing practical solutions to the many industrial relations and commercial contractual issues that modern businesses face. He has a thorough understanding of the law relating to everyday business operations and complex legal issues.

Justin is able to provide advice and assistance across a range of areas including:

  • Industrial Disputes

Justin has represented clients before the Western Australian Courts, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Full Bench of the Fair Work Commission.

He has acted as counsel in a variety of proceedings including:

  • Industrial action
  • Right of entry provisions
  • Wages and entitlements.
  • Appearing in arbitrations involving the terms and conditions of agreements

Justin has earned a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Notre Dame Australia.


Ryan Martin

Ryan Martin

Ryan is a solicitor at Business Law WA. He has more than five years’ experience providing quality advice on a variety of legal and employee relations matters to businesses in a wide range of industries.

Ryan’s expertise includes providing employment solutions that contribute to the strategic thinking and direction of businesses. This allows businesses to meet their core objectives and values by effectively drafting and negotiating contractual agreements.

He is able to provide advice and assistance across a range of areas including:

Ryan has appeared as counsel for clients before a number of commissions, tribunals and courts.

He earned his Bachelor of Laws from Edith Cowan University and is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.


Lauren Hillbrick

Lauren Hillbrick

Lauren has previously worked as an Associate at both the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission and the Federal Court of Australia.

She has also worked in private practice and at a community legal centre specialising in employment law. 

Lauren regularly assists with:

  • Tribunal matters
  • Legal research
  • Employment contracts and policies
  • Employment law advice

She earned a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Industrial Relations) from the University of Western Australia. Lauren also holds a Masters of Employment Law (Distinction) from Robert Gordon University and has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.


Martina IvanovskiMartina Ivanovski

Martina joined CCI in 2003 and has represented members in the Federal Court, Fair Work Commission, Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission, Industrial Magistrate’s Court, Equal Opportunity Commission and the State Administrative Tribunal.

Martina has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame and specialises in:

  • Employment law;
  • Dispute Resolution; and
  • Discrimination and Equal Opportunity

Amanda CameronAmanda Cameron

Amanda is a solicitor at Business Law WA. Prior to working at Business Law WA, she worked as a Workplace Relations Lawyer in national law firms in Perth and Sydney.

Amanda has a strong employment law background, which includes experience in employment related litigation, industrial strategy, enterprise agreement making and day-to-day employment issues.

Amanda can provide advice and assistance across a range of matters including:
