Course Description

Most organisations collect, store and use data on a daily basis. Data forms part of our core function and includes personal information received from third parties, customers and your employees. Data can be stored on-site, off-site at an independent service provider’s premises or in the cloud. It is your responsibility to ensure that the data in your care, especially sensitive information, is secure.

This module focuses on the protection of personal information in your possession, ways in which the security of that information might become threatened and how to ward off cyber-attacks.

At the end of the module, you will be asked to undertake an online assessment to check your understanding of the key concepts presented.
