$20,000 grants for innovative SMEs

Local start-ups and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) may be eligible for vouchers of up to $20,000 to commercialise ideas and create jobs, via a State Government program.

Applications are now open for the 2021 Innovation Vouchers Program.

The program is designed to help early stage businesses access the skills and services they need to advance their commercial ideas or activities in WA.

The vouchers provide support in research and development, product development, technology transfer/intellectual property or commercialisation support.

WA ICT Minister Don Punch said the program helped WA start-ups and SMEs break through barriers to commercialisation and grow their businesses.

More information on how to apply for the vouchers is here.
