The aerospace giant has partnered with CCIWA Member Sadleirs Global Logistics, which will coordinate and deliver the logistics service for the $11 million distribution platform, located at Sadleirs’ warehouse near Perth Airport.
The facility spans 500 square metres, with the option to expand up to 1,500m², allowing Airbus to scale operations in line with growing customer demand.
“This expansion reflects our enduring commitment to Australia, where we have proudly supported operators for over 40 years,” said Airbus Helicopters Executive Vice President of Customer Support and Services Romain Trapp.
“We see Australia as a vital market for civil and governmental helicopter operations, and we’re investing to ensure our customers have the parts they need when they need them.
“The new distribution platform strengthens our ability to deliver fast, dependable service that keeps fleets mission-ready and flying safely.”
CCIWA Acting CEO Matt Golds said the facility would significantly benefit WA businesses and supply chains.
“This investment by Airbus will help to support jobs and will drive the continued growth of key industries that rely on helicopters, including the off-shore oil and gas sector,” he said.
“It’s also a great vote of confidence in the strength of the WA economy.”

This expansion will enable a faster, more efficient service for all Airbus Helicopter platforms across the State, especially for large aircraft such as the H175.
The facility offers easy access to customs clearance and delivery services, enabling faster distribution of Airbus helicopter parts to regional operators.
It will also provide critical support for offshore and energy customers, particularly for their operations in the North West Shelf, as well as emergency services including WA Police and the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
The parts centre will support all Airbus helicopter types.
