Small and medium food and beverage manufacturers in WA can now access up to $20,000 to support their business growth ambitions.
The State Government’s latest round of the Agrifood and Beverage Voucher Program helps business access expert support to scale their operations, boost sustainability and prepare for export markets.
With $700,000 in funding available, the initiative offers eligible businesses up to two vouchers valued at $10,000 each, on a 50:50 co-contribution basis.
Practical boost for SMEs
The funding can be used to engage consultants or technical experts – including CCIWA’s International Trade Services – to help overcome growth challenges, plan expansion strategies or enhance environmental and social sustainability credentials.
The program supports value-adding businesses across regional and metropolitan WA that are building new opportunities from the State’s raw agricultural produce, from boutique beverage producers to manufacturers of high-quality packaged foods.
“This is a great opportunity for local producers to tap into expert advice that can help them scale, diversify and break into global markets,” says CCIWA Head of International Trade Services Michael Carter.
“As international demand grows for quality, sustainable food and beverage products, WA’s producers have a real opportunity to differentiate and compete – but they need the right strategy and support in place.”
The vouchers can be used for a range of services, including market positioning, product development, supply chain planning, sustainability audits and export strategy.
“We often see promising businesses struggle to take the next step because they don’t have access to the right expertise,” Carter says.
“Programs like this help to bridge that gap as businesses sharpen their competitive edge, especially in export markets where the requirements and expectations are much higher.”
Applications for the current round close at 5pm on August 26, 2025.
