The new Respect@work laws place a positive duty on employers to take reasonable and proportionate measures to eliminate sex discrimination, sexual harassment and victimisation, as far as possible. The questions in this assessment have been compiled in reference to the ‘seven standards’ created by the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) in order to provide guidance on the steps required to comply with the new positive duty held by businesses. Complying in full with the seven standards is essential to compliance with the relevant Respect@Work legislation. The results of this assessment will help you, and us to determine what measures need to be taken to lower associated risks in your workplace.
