Safety and Health Representatives Training

Course Description

This introductory course is crucial for all newly elected Health and Safety Representatives. Attendees will gain in-depth knowledge and practice the necessary skills needed to operate as an effective Health and Safety Representative, accredited by the WHS Commission.

As of early 2022, a number of new roles and functions for Health and Safety Representatives will be added as part of the new WHS laws and the training will cover in detail what these changes are.

Participants will also gain the confidence they need to help improve the overall safety performance and make a real difference to the safety culture of their organisation.

This course is designed by WorkSafe WA and delivered by our safety and risk specialists from our Training Partner, Essential Training, a registered training organisation here in Perth.
