The 2024 CCIWA Membership Renewal Competition – Terms and Conditions
- All entrants into the competition agree to abide by these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions).
- The Terms and Conditions of this competition are governed by the laws of the State of Western Australia.
- The competition is being run by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia Limited of Level 5, 235 St Georges Terrace, Perth, 6000 (CCIWA).
- The CCIWA membership renewal competition (the competition) commences at 8:00 am (AWST) on Thursday, 2 May 2024.
- The closing time and date for the competition is 5:00 pm (AWST) on Monday, 1 July 2024 (Closing Time).
- CCIWA members that fall within the definition of an “Eligible Entrant” below will automatically be entered into the competition.
- An Eligible Entrant means a current CCIWA member:
- who’s CCIWA membership is due to expire 30 June 2024; and
- who has been sent a CCIWA membership renewal tax invoice (Membership Renewal Invoice) to its registered email address on Thursday, 2 May 2024; and
- who has paid the Membership Renewal Invoice with funds having been received by CCIWA before the Closing Time.
- Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by CCIWA and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
- Entry to the competition is free. Entrants will be responsible for all costs associated with entering the competition, which may include costs associated with accessing the internet in addition to paying the Membership Renewal Invoice. Costs will not be reimbursed regardless of whether an Eligible Entrant wins the competition.
- Entrants will only be entered into the competition once.
- There will be one (1) prize up to a total value of A$2,000. The prize will include:
- a voucher for two night’s stay at Crown Towers (up to the value of A$1190) inclusive of valet parking and breakfast at Epicurean for two guests per day*;
*Voucher is valid for a duration of one year. Subject to availability. Some blackouts periods or limited availability may apply to special event periods and public holidays. No further discounts apply. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Not redeemable for cash. Not transferable. Cancellations within 24-hours of check-in will result in forfeiture of the full fee payable for the stay. Service fee of 1.2% applies to accounts settled by credit card. Valet parking for one vehicle only and is subject to availability; - A$300 Crown voucher;
- A$350 Red Balloon Experience voucher; and
- A$160 Hamper from Hamperswithbite.com.au.

- The prize will be drawn at 11:00 am (AWST) on Friday, 5 July 2024 at CCIWA offices. The winner will be selected at random via electronic draw from all valid entries received before the Closing Time.
- The prize winner will be contacted within seven (7) days of the draw by the registered email address to which the Membership Renewal Invoice was sent.
- The prize will be emailed / couriered to the registered postal address (or email address, if relevant) that CCIWA has in its records.
- The prize winner will be responsible for all costs associated with collecting and using the prize.
- The Prize is final and is not transferrable and is not redeemable for cash or an alternative prize.
- The prize winner acknowledges that if successful in being awarded the prize, the prize is subject to availability and/or changes in CCIWA’s absolute discretion. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, CCIWA reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
- The prize is subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier of the prize or CCIWA, including but not limited to, validity and expiration periods.
- If the competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated by CCIWA, due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of CCIWA, CCIWA reserves the right to the fullest extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate in the discretion of CCIWA.
- CCIWA is not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any problems or any financial costs incurred, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other persons related to or resulting from participation in this competition.
- CCIWA (including its respective officers, employees and agents) will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) by any person in connection with this competition or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
- CCIWA’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition.
- CCIWA is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, late or delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
- CCIWA reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole discretion, with such updates including, but not limited to, extending the Closing Time.
- Personal information provided to CCIWA for the purpose of entering the competition will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with CCIWA’s Privacy Policy. A copy of the privacy policy is available on our website at https://cciwa.com/privacy-policy/. Personal information collected will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned or otherwise disclosed to any third party otherwise than in accordance with the privacy policy and these Terms and Conditions.
