What is a G2G Pass?

G2G Pass is an online application that must be completed before entering WA. The form provides authorities with up-to-date information about your health and travel movements. A new application is required every time you enter WA.

The G2G Pass is free.

Who must complete a G2G Pass?

Anyone aged 16 years and above arriving in WA from overseas or interstate, including returning WA residents, must complete a G2G Pass.

To submit an application, visit the G2G Pass website and set up an account.

What do I need to do to complete a G2G Pass?
  1. Visit G2G Pass.
  2. Complete the online registration form.
  3. Download the G2G Pass app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a QR code via the app or email. You must present this when entering WA.

If you are directed to quarantine, you should download the G2G Now app available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to enable digital quarantine checks by WA Police.

What penalties will apply if I break the travel conditions?

WA Police have the power to enforce WA's travel restrictions. Breaking travel conditions or lying in a G2G declaration can result in fines of up to $50,000 or up to 12 months in prison.

For more information, see the G2G Pass for Travel to WA – Frequently Asked Questions.
