This practical, engaging and information-rich session equips workers with a clear understanding of their legislative duties and responsibilities under Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws.
The course reinforces shared responsibility between employers and workers in maintaining a safe workplace and promotes proactive participation in risk identification, consultation and continuous improvement.

Learning outcomes
Participants will develop the knowledge and confidence to:
- Identify hazards in their work environment
- Apply a structured risk management process consistent with the WHS Regulations
- Understand the hierarchy of control and what “reasonably practicable” means in practice
- Participate effectively in consultation processes
- Report hazards, incidents and near misses appropriately
- Contribute to continuous improvement of workplace safety systems
