These terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) apply to current members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia Limited (CCIWA) that refer non CCIWA member entities to CCIWA and those entities become paid CCIWA members
All CCIWA members (Members) agree to be bound by and comply with CCIWA’s Constitution (the Constitution), by-laws, the rules and regulations of the Board and/or Council (as appropriate) and these Terms and Conditions, as amended or varied, from time to time.
As a company limited by guarantee, Members provide a guarantee under the Constitution in the event of a winding-up. The guarantee is limited to the membership fee, as detailed in your membership application form.

By becoming a Member, you will a part of something bigger and help CCIWA achieve this vision.
Referral Campaign Dates
This referral campaign will commence on 8 May 2024. CCIWA reserves the right to change these terms and conditions and/or cease the referral campaign at any time without prior notice (in its absolute discretion).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to participate in this referral campaign, the referring party (Referring Member) must:
- be a small to medium business enterprise with 1 to 199 full-time equivalent staff;
- be a current member of CCIWA; and
- refer a Non-CCIWA Member (defined below) in writing to CCIWA for membership.
The referral must be via email to [email protected] and contain relevant corporate details of the Non-CCIWA Member – ie organisation name and representative contact details.
Third Party Entities
The third-party entity (Non-CCIWA Member) must:
- not currently be a member of CCIWA;
- not have been a member of CCIWA in the last 12 months;
- not be an Excluded Non-CCIWA Member: and
- be referred to CCIWA for membership via a Referring Member.
Excluded Non-CCIWA Member means a new CCIWA member that is not a direct CCIWA member, does not pay full annual membership fees and/or is subject to alternative payment arrangements, including, but not limited to regional chambers, REEFWA and other organisations the subject of one on many arrangements.
CCIWA reserves the right (in its absolute discretion) to make the assessment whether a new CCIWA member is an Excluded Non-CCIWA Member.
Referral Incentive
The Referring Member will receive a $250 Gift Card (Referral Incentive) from CCIWA if the Non-CCIWA Member:
- joins CCIWA as a member; and
- pays the annual membership fees by either making:
- the one-off upfront total payment in full; or
- the first month’s payment (if electing to pay the annual membership fees via 12-monthly instalment payments by direct debit).
The Referring Member will receive the Referral Incentive within 30 days of the Non-CCIWA Member paying the annual membership fees (upfront or monthly, as the case may be).
The Referring Member will receive a Referral Incentive for each Non-CCIWA Member it refers (and meets the requirements as per the above). There is no limit to the number of:
- referrals a Referring Member can make; or
- Referral Incentives a Referring Member can receive.
The Referral Incentive will be mailed / couriered to the registered address (or email address, if relevant) of the Referral Member that CCIWA has in its records.
The Referral Incentive is not transferrable and is not redeemable for cash or an alternative prize.
The Referral Incentive is subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier of the Referral Incentive or CCIWA, including but not limited to, validity and expiration periods.
If the referral campaign is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated by CCIWA, due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of CCIWA, CCIWA reserves the right to the fullest extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the referral campaign, as appropriate in the discretion of CCIWA.
CCIWA is not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any problems or any financial costs incurred, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other persons related to or resulting from participation in this referral campaign.
CCIWA’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
CCIWA is not liable for Referral Incentives that are misplaced, misdirected, late or delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
CCIWA Membership Terms and Conditions
For the avoidance of doubt, all other terms and conditions of CCIWA membership remain in full force and effect. The membership T&Cs can be found on CCIWA’s website at Membership Terms and Conditions — CCIWA.
General
Changes to Terms and Conditions
From time to time, CCIWA may update these Terms and Conditions. The updated Terms and Conditions will apply to this referral campaign from the time of posting on our website and onwards.
Severability
Any provision of, or the application of any provision of, these Terms and Conditions which is void, illegal or unenforceable in any jurisdiction does not affect the validity, legality or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction or of the remaining provisions in that or other jurisdiction.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Each party irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
