The Education Development Fund recently celebrated its partnership with The Smith Family with a morning tea.
The event, held on October 10, was for employees of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA Perth CBD office and Apprenticeship Support Australia’s Osborne Park office.
Staff got to eat branded cupcakes, while listening to presentations by CCIWA CEO Chris Rodwell, and The Smith Family representatives: Julie Walker, Regional Programs Manager, and David Heath, Corporate Partnerships Manager.
Chris discussed The Smith Family charity and their success in providing support to students in need and how excited CCIWA is to collaborate with The Smith Family.
Julie Walker and David Heath both highlighted the impact donations can have on students experiencing disadvantage and how education is an important change agent.
