CCIWA is delighted to once again celebrate the best of diversity and inclusion within Western Australian business with the launch today of the CCIWA Diversity & Inclusion Awards for 2025.
The CCIWA Diversity & Inclusion Awards, together with BHP, recognise the organisations and individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to diversity and inclusion, acknowledging their innovative strategies and visionary leadership.
After a spectacular inaugural awards last year, the event will be back bigger and better at Crown Perth on November 7, 2025.
The awards are open to organisations and individuals across 11 categories, with another strong field of finalists expected this year.
The award categories are:
- Indigenous Inclusion Award
- Disability & Access Inclusion Award
- Cultural Inclusion Award
- LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Award
- The Michael Parker Gender Inclusion Award
- Community & Social Impact Award
- Individual Change Maker Award
- Workplace Wellbeing Award
- Best D&I Initiative: Small Business
- Best D&I Initiative: Medium Business
- Best D&I Initiative: Corporate Enterprise
“The inaugural D&I Awards were a huge success, recognising the outstanding initiatives that are shaping a more inclusive future across WA,” says CCIWA CEO Peter Cock.
“I encourage all businesses and organisations to nominate for the D&I Awards to showcase the positive impact of their work in this important space.”
He added: “There are also opportunities to sponsor an individual award category, which is another way to demonstrate your business’ commitment to diversity and inclusion.”
Along with partner BHP, returning major sponsors include Fortescue, Good Sammy and media partner 9News Perth.
Nominations for the D&I Awards close on July 25, with finalists announced August 29.
Tickets for the Gala event are available now, with entertainment throughout the evening to be announced in coming months.
