Middle East Crisis: CCIWA Hub

Supporting you during ongoing global uncertainty.

WA businesses are facing mounting pressure as the Middle East crisis continues, with impacts being felt across the State.

Fuel and fertiliser shortages, rising costs and ongoing supply chain disruptions are creating serious concern for local businesses and our economy.

At CCIWA, we are taking your challenges to Government while providing you with comprehensive support to safeguard your business.

We’re advocating for you

We’re asking State and Federal Governments to:

  • Keep WA competitive by securing fuel supply and ensuring gaps in distribution are addressed as a priority.
  • Avoid policy responses that amplify inflationary pressure or input costs during a supply constrained period (eg. new levies, cost adding).
  • Maintain clear, factual and regular communication, distinguishing short-term distribution challenges from longer-term supply risks.
  • Ensure business continuity by providing government support measures that are timely, temporary and targeted.

We’re listening to you

We invite all WA businesses to share any information which could help us in furthering our advocacy and developing recommendations as the situation evolves.

Please email feedback to: [email protected]

“We know pressure is building, and our teams stand ready to support those businesses in need to reduce risks and soften impacts.

We’re listening to you, advocating for you and doing what we can to provide relief.

When it matters, CCIWA is here for you.”
Will Golsby, Chief Executive Officer
