CCIWA will host the 3rd Diversity & Inclusion Awards on May 21, 2027 at Crown Perth, once again celebrating the organisations and individuals helping to build more inclusive workplaces and communities in Western Australia.

The awards shine a spotlight on businesses, leaders and changemakers creating environments where everyone can thrive.
Nominations are open
Nominations are now open to organisations and individuals across 11 categories:
- Indigenous Inclusion Award
- Disability & Access Inclusion Award
- Cultural Inclusion Award
- LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Award
- The Michael Parker Gender Inclusion Award
- Community & Social Impact Award
- Individual Change Maker Award
- Workplace Wellbeing Award
- Best D&I Initiative: Small Business
- Best D&I Initiative: Medium Business
- Best D&I Initiative: Corporate Enterprise
CCIWA encourages businesses, not-for-profits, community organisations and individuals from across Western Australia to nominate and showcase the positive impact of their diversity and inclusion initiatives.
“From big, bold ideas to community-led initiatives, these awards recognise the people and organisations dedicated to making a difference,” CCIWA Director of Member Experience Sharni Foulkes said.
“They celebrate those leading the way with innovative strategies and inspiring leadership, while helping to showcase what best practice looks like across Western Australia.
“Too often, the people and organisations making the biggest difference are unrecognised for their incredible work – but with the Diversity & Inclusion Awards, we are aiming to change that.
“If you know an individual, business or organisation making a positive impact through diversity and inclusion, we encourage you to nominate them.”
We’re looking for judges
New for 2027, CCIWA is also inviting expressions of interest <insert link> from experienced professionals to join the independent judging panel. Leaders and practitioners with expertise in diversity and inclusion, people and culture, organisational development, governance, social impact and evaluation are encouraged to apply.
Judges play an important role in ensuring the awards remain fair, independent and credible, assessing submissions against structured criteria and anchored scoring principles.
Important dates for 2026/27
- July 20, 2026 – Award launch: Tickets, nominations and judges’ expressions of interest open
- December 11, 2026 – Nominations close
- January 11, 2027 – Judging starts
- March 11, 2027 – Finalists announced
- May 21, 2027 – Gala event: Winners announced
