Question 1

Ian is interested in Mary. They socialise with other members of staff after work and seem to have fun with each other.  Ian asks Mary out on a date.

Martin is Dan’s supervisor. Lately Martin has been trying to pinch Dan on the bottom as he passes by him. Initially Dan just ignored it and tried to pretend it was a joke.  But now he wants it to stop.

Question 3

Becky and Tina like to chat in the lunch room and often tell sexually explicit jokes. They do not intend for others to overhear. Jill feels uncomfortable about their conversations and so always eats her lunch alone at her desk.

Question 4

Michael is new to his role. A senior female co-worker has befriended him on Facebook and is writing x-rated comments under some of his photos. Michael doesn’t say anything because it’s his first job out of school, and he is keen to make a good impression. He also doesn’t think he can complain to HR because it’s happening outside of work.

Question 5

Bill really likes the people he works with, and he makes a point of always being happy and friendly. He calls the young girls in the office “sweetie” and gives them fatherly hugs. At work drinks he often jokes "how's your love life?" and "planning on getting any this weekend?" His co-workers don't object and sometimes laugh. His supervisor, however, is a little worried. He has spoken to Bill, who says, “It’s just the way I am. Everyone knows I’m harmless”.
