PCEC revamp scrapped for hospitals
The State Government will not proceed with the $1.6 billion Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) development, instead redirecting $1.5b of the earmarked funds to hospital projects. It cited a reprioritisation of costs and the impact on major roads and congestion as the key reasons for the decision.
