What is the Quality Practice Standard?
The QPS, overseen by the Law Society of WA, recognises law practices that have developed and maintained robust internal processes to ensure consistent management and high levels of customer service.
To retain QPS certification, legal practices must demonstrate their systems and processes exceed legislative requirements, with a strong focus on consistency and a client-centred approach.
These processes are independently audited each year by an external auditor.
Cass Wright, BLWA Legal Director, Commercial and WHS Law, said the accreditation reflected the firm’s disciplined approach to governance and client service.
“Consistently maintaining QPS accreditation year after year demonstrates the strength and reliability of our systems and our commitment to accountability,” she said.
“It assures clients they can depend on us for a consistently high standard of service in every matter,” she said.
BLWA Managing Associate, Workplace Relations, Laura Fry said the recognition also highlighted the strength of the firm’s people and culture.
“This achievement is a credit to our team and the culture we’ve built over the past decade,” she said.
“It demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement and to supporting clients with clear, practical and high-quality legal advice.”
