Nominations are open for the WA Export Awards, giving Western Australian exporters an opportunity to showcase their international trade success.
The awards recognise the significant achievements and economic contribution of the State’s exporters.
Winning a WA Export Award provides a powerful platform for WA businesses to gain industry recognition, expand their global networks, and strengthen their brand in international markets.
“The awards are a chance to put your business in the spotlight and celebrate your export achievements on a big stage,” says CCIWA head of International Trade Services, Michael Carter.
“Exporting businesses are a key pillar of WA’s – and Australia’s – economy, with our State’s export goods valued $234.6 billion in 2024 and contributing 45% of Australia’s total goods exported.”

Last year, CCIWA Member Austral Fisheries was awarded the 2024 Western Australian Exporter of the Year. As one of Australia’s largest integrated commercial fishing companies, Austral Fisheries has built a global reputation for sustainable seafood and responsible fishing practices.
“The WA Export Awards is a fantastic way to celebrate all that our local exporters do, building our State economy and creating local jobs for Western Australians,” says WA Premier Roger Cook.
“Each year we see many applications from across WA and I encourage anyone who is thinking about applying to contact Invest and Trade WA now so we can celebrate your role in exporting WA excellence to the world.”
Winners from each category, along with the WA Exporter of the Year, will be announced at the annual WA Export Awards Gala Dinner in September.
All winners will go on to represent WA at the Australian Export Awards in Canberra, where they compete against top exporters from across the country.
