Food and beverage businesses are being given a funding boost of up to $20,000 to foster growth.
The State Government is offering to small and medium-sized businesses agrifood and beverage vouchers to support expansion of their operations. The vouchers can be used to access marketing, financial and broader business advice, including services from CCIWA’s International Trade Services.
“Our experienced team can assist new and established businesses with importing and exporting to reduce the time, cost and risk of going global, pursing international growth opportunities and/or identifying global supply chain partners with our suite of bespoke trade services,” says Michael Carter, Head of ITIC.
“I encourage businesses to look into the program as this funding could be instrumental in taking your business to the next level like it has been for many others in the past.”
Businesses looking to become more sustainable through carbon audits and emission reduction strategies can also apply for vouchers to seek guidance in the emerging area, as customers become more discerning.
The program has provided 280 vouchers worth $1.4 million to breweries, bakeries, cafes and meat and speciality food manufacturers and processors.
“This valuable program helps reduce risk for WA family businesses, so they can confidently explore opportunities to grow,” says Small Business; Agriculture and Food Minister Jackie Jarvis.
