There are hazards all around us that can be a risk to the health and safety of yourself, others and the environment. To protect yourself and others from harm, hazards need to be identified and managed. Safety is everyone’s responsibility and you are expected to participate in hazard identification in every aspect of your work.
Organisations must be committed to identifying hazards in all aspects of their work. Processes must be in place for receiving and acting upon hazard reports and the associated risks of injury.
At the end of the module, you will be asked to undertake an online assessment to check your understanding of the key concepts presented.
