Kristen Eatwell | Manager, Employee Relations Advice Centre
Kristen has several years’ experience as a Human Resources and Employee Relations professional, working across a range of industry sectors including hospitality and off-shore oil and gas. Kristen holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources. She is an expert in HR generalist, strategic management and ER/HR advice.
In her prior roles, Kristen has undertaken advocacy work assisting employers with strategic HR/ER advice, coaching and mentoring business leaders through complex employment matters, developing and reviewing HR/ER documents such as contracts, policies, and procedures and facilitating HR/ER training and seminars. Kristen also has experience in managing recruitment, payroll, learning and development and occupational safety and health.
Kristen currently manages the Employee Relations Advice Centre team at CCIWA.
Eve Vasilas | Senior Employee Relations Adviser
Eve has more than 10 years’ experience in generalist human resources and employee relations working across a range of sectors including oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, construction and hospitality.
She has extensive expertise and in providing advice on issues like performance management, redundancy, recruitment, policies and procedures, contracts interpretation of awards/enterprise agreements, apprentice and trainee wages.
She has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management at Lund University (Sweden) as well as a Postgraduate certificate in Business Administration at Murdoch University.
Alice Chacko | Senior Employee Relations Adviser
Alice has several years’ experience in the Human Resources sector across a number of industries with a background in managing and drafting contracts, creating contracts of employment, processing internal transfers, payroll, generalist HR and business partnering. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours as well as a Master of Commerce majoring in Human Resources and Employment Relations.
In her Senior role, Alice has gained extensive experience in coaching and mentoring, training, recruitment, learning and development and business partnering.
Erin Verzandvoort | Senior Employee Relations Adviser
Erin holds a Bachelor of Commerce – Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations and is currently under taking further legal studies. Erin has previous experience as a HR generalist and has worked across a range of industries including manufacturing, construction and disability employment services.
Erin works as a Employee Relations Advisor providing detailed advise on many areas of employment relations including termination and redundancy, performance management, award interpretation, HR matters, wage rates and practical strategic advice.
Andjelika Cabassi | Senior Employee Relations Adviser
With over ten years’ experience in a range of human resources and workers compensation roles within labour-hire and higher education industry sectors, Andjelika holds a breadth of experience and knowledge across the entire employee life cycle.
She has extensive experience in partnering with business to provide HR/ER advice and support, policy development, case management, payroll administration, on-boarding, employee learning and development coordination and safety and health guidance.
She holds a range of formal qualifications including a Master of Human Resources and Employment Relations, Bachelor Degree in Commerce and a Diploma in Business Law.
Aaron Dockery | Senior Employee Relations Adviser
With a background in client services and HR projects, including his most recent work on the interaction between the current industrial relations legislative framework and the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme to the disability services sector, Aaron offers an academic angle to our experienced team.
His extensive experience gained in the retail and sales sector also gives CCIWA Members a tailored and practical approach to their employee relations queries.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources and Industrial Relations).
Jenny Thomas | Employee Relations Adviser
Jenny has a background in industrial and employee relations within the health and aged care sectors. Her experience has a client-based focus which included providing generalist ER/IR advice and support particularly in the regards to the interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements, discipline and termination matters and performance management issues.
Her experience also extends across the retail and sale sectors having gained knowledge and expertise in training and development and policy implementation.
Jenny holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources and Industrial Relations.
Chris Nunn | Employee Relations Adviser
Chris is a Graduate Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), and has Post Graduate Qualifications in Human Resources and Employee Relations though the University of Western Australia, obtained in July 2018.
Chris has a wealth of industry and management experience. Previously at Perth Theme Park, Adventure World; he has obtained more than 12 years of experience in management, recruitment, customer service, tourism, leadership and comprehensive business operations within the theme park industry. Chris was responsible for a team of up to 300 employees at any one time and played an active role in most aspects of the company’s day-to-day operation.
In 2012 Chris was nominated and made it into the top four finalists in the WA Tourism Awards for the Sir David Brand Young Achiever Medal. In 2015 the honour of a nomination was awarded once again and saw Chris become the Winner of the 2015 Sir David Brand Young Achiever Medal - WA Tourism.
Noel Castillo | Employee Relations Adviser
An experienced lawyer and Mentor, Noel delights in assisting employers to reach pragmatic solutions to employment problems.
After starting his career as lawyer in the Philippines, Noel migrated to Australia to be with his family.
Since his arrival, Noel has spent four years providing mentoring support guidance to employers and employee in a training contract arrangement across all industry sectors.
Noel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at Far Eastern University and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Santo Tomas (Manila Philippines) as well as Graduate Diploma in Australian Migration Law at Murdoch University.
