Jumping at chance to help

Twelve members of Forum Group will take a leap of faith when they jump off the Central Park building on St George’s Terrace on September 10.

It’s all part of a partnership with Cahoots, formerly Kids’ Camps, to raise money for the WA-based charity that creates exciting and rewarding recreation experiences for children and young people with a disability.

With eight jumping from the Perth office, the addition of four executives from the east coast will see Forum Groups’ target contribution being a minimum of $13,200 to Cahoots.

They will join more than 300 jumpers around the country who will raise more than $350,000 for four charities.

Forum Groups WA Executive General Manager Mathew Frederickson says his team literally jumped at the chance to support the Cahoots cause.

“When we mentioned this year’s plunge was on again and that we are 100 per cent behind the Cahoots cause, the team jumped at the chance,” he said.

With WA business forming an important part of Forum Groups’ national customer base, he said it made sense for the company to schedule its monthly executive meeting in Perth in September to coincide with the plunge.
