CCIWA gives #smallshoutout to local business

At CCIWA, we’ve launched the #smallshoutout campaign to support small businesses managing the impacts of COVID-19.

CCIWA employees have been given $50 to spend at a business in their local neighbourhood.

In making the announcement, CCIWA CEO Chris Rodwell said it’s critical to support local business and every little bit helps.

He also invited Members to join with CCIWA and spend a little locally.

“Though we recognise that many of you will be solely focused on getting your business through this difficult period, if you can, we invite you to join our campaign to give a #smallshoutout to local businesses.”

The campaign is part of CCIWA’s commitment to helping WA businesses stay resilient through COVID-19 restrictions.

That commitment includes regular updates to our covid19.cciwa.com website, which includes a range of free resources—from guidance on government incentives and wage subsidy to business continuity plans, and our economic impact survey.

Members can also call our Employee Relations Advice Centre on (08) 9365 7660.

In the last six weeks alone, CCIWA has supported members through more than 3,000 consultations.
